Job Opportunity
Head Mandarin Teacher
Everyday Mandarin is seeking Head Mandarin Teachers to inspire students in grades K-5 to love learning about Chinese culture and Mandarin.
- Teachers work at a school in the Sunset District of San Francisco.
- Teachers are required to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2:30PM-6:00PM.
- All classroom materials and curriculum will be provided.
- Teachers must have patience and classroom management skills to facilitate groups of up to 18 students for a 50 minute class.
- Students in classes will be grouped based on their age, grade and Mandarin skill level. If you prefer to teach a specific age/grade range, let us know when applying.
This job is a great way to get experience in the classroom working with grade school children. Our program will train teachers on classroom management techniques including behavior modification and positive reinforcement. We work closely with our teachers to help them develop their own personalized lesson plans based on the curriculum we provide. We believe in our teachers taking ownership of their class and will support them however they need.

- Assistant teachers must have patience and be proactive in helping organize and coordinate the class of up to 18 students for a 50 minute class.

Assistant teachers will also be trained to be head teachers if that is a pathway you are interested in.
