Mandarin at Francis Scott Key & Sunset Elementary School

In partnership with the school site and Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center, Everyday Mandarin offers after school Mandarin instruction to over 120 students in SFUSD schools.

Our program focuses on high-quality instruction taught by native-speaking Mandarin teachers. We train our teachers to use positive reinforcement and behavior modification techniques to create an environment that nurtures students' curiosity and excitement to learn Mandarin. A priority for our program is that students have fun and enjoy learning the language and about Chinese culture. We aim to create a strong language foundation, a natural instinct to understand Chinese and the passion to pursue learning Mandarin. Learn more about the curriculum our program uses.
