Every child deserves the chance to learn Mandarin

Everyday Mandarin offers need-based partial and full scholarships so cost is never the reason a child misses out. Scholarships are funded by tuition and by donations to our nonprofit scholarship fund.

Who can apply

Need-based support for families

Partial scholarships

Reduced tuition for families who need help covering the full cost.

Full scholarships

Tuition covered in full for families with the greatest need.

ELOP discount at Sloat

Families who qualify for ELOP at Commodore Sloat receive 25% off tuition.

Families may qualify if they:

  • Qualify for free or reduced-price school lunch
  • Qualify for ELOP (Expanded Learning Opportunities Program)
  • Receive Section 8 or other housing assistance
  • Receive a low-income rate from a utility, such as CARE or FERA
  • Are facing another financial hardship

Support the fund

Help a child learn Mandarin

Every gift to our scholarship fund goes toward tuition for students whose families couldn’t otherwise afford it. Everyday Mandarin is a program of Higher Level Learning, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (Tax ID 84-1793017). Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
